AI video has nowhere that wants it.
OpenAI closed the Sora app on 26 April 2026, six months after it opened — reportedly burning about a million dollars a day in compute while its audience drifted away. A feed where every viewer is also generating is a compute bill with a social network attached.
The biggest video platform builds Google’s Veo model into Shorts, and since July 2025 its Partner Program has called mass-produced, repetitive work “inauthentic” and refused to pay for it — with someone else deciding, case by case, which side of that line your work is on.
NeverLensed is the other answer: creators generate, viewers watch free, and every rule for getting paid is written down.
- Whether AI work is “original enough” to be paid is decided case by case, by someone you never meet
- A subscriber count stands between your work and the ad money
- Somebody remixes your work and you get nothing
- A channel can end in an email with no person behind it
- Volume is rewarded, so the feed fills with filler
- Using a model is the entry requirement, never a strike — everything here is AI-made
- Tips and sales pay from your first day; the ad share opens by application, with no subscriber count anywhere in it
- Every remix credits you and pays you its whole royalty, automatically, forever
- Four things remove a Channel, printed on the rules page. Everything else has an end date
- Nobody is paid for volume — a human Review Crew scores work before it reaches the front page
Provenance instead of prohibition.
Other platforms try to detect AI after the fact, with classifiers that are wrong often enough to ruin people. Here everything is signed at the moment it is made, so there is nothing to detect and nothing to accuse you of.
A passport on every work
Model, prompt, seed and every edit, signed when it is generated — a C2PA manifest plus a watermark you cannot see. Every upload is checked for it before it goes live. You can hide your prompt. You cannot hide that the work is synthetic, and nobody can pass a camera’s footage off as yours.
The studio is in the building
Generate across models, then edit, caption, score, make the poster and publish without leaving. See what a render costs before you spend anything. Characters and a look hold steady across a whole series.
Lens-Off, every week
A new brief each week, every one with a catch that makes it hard in an interesting way. People judge it on craft, the trophies are earned, and the placings sit on your Channel as proof of what you can do.
Every format, one Channel.
Videos
One to 58 minutes, with chapters from your shot list, a searchable transcript, and your recipe attached if you choose to share it.
Flicks
58 seconds at the most, vertical, with the prompt one tap away. The limit is the format.
AI Cinema
Movies and series with seasons, posters and a trailer for every title — and NeverLensed TV, a channel that never stops, programmed from the best-rated of them.
AI Images
Stills as first-class work, with the same provenance record and the same rights protection as anything that moves.
Learn & sell
Teach what you know in a Classroom with a certificate at the end, and sell the files you made. Every product names the work it came out of.
Commissions
Brands and studios hire you for films, posters and UGC ads. The money waits in escrow until you deliver.
Every rule on one page, with the reason next to it.
Twenty-seven rules, each written beside the reason it exists, with a public changelog — if a rule cannot survive being written down next to its justification, it is not a rule we should have. These are the ones creators ask about first.
Every picture and every sound published is generated. Words are the exception: prompts, titles and comments are written by people, and they are the direction.
Cameos are opt-in, identity-verified and revocable, and the person co-owns anything they appear in. Public figures are off limits unless they upload themselves.
A human Review Crew scores every new work before it can reach the front page. Filler does not earn, however much of it there is.
Automatically, out of the remixer’s share, forever. The original creator keeps 100% of the royalty.
You keep copyright, export with the manifest intact and leave whenever you like. We never train on your work without your explicit, per-work, paid consent.
Blocks, holds and demonetisations name the rule that fired. Money held in error is paid with the hold counted, not forfeited.
Four things remove a Channel: material sexualising a minor, non-consensual intimate imagery, a court order or sanctions listing, and impersonating a real person as the Channel’s purpose. Everything else is a suspension with a stated end date — never indefinite.
Published rates. No renegotiating once you’re big.
Two commission rates, and which applies depends on what we actually do: 10% where we host it and take the payment, 20% where we hold the money in escrow, review the rights on delivery and carry the dispute.
From your first day
Tips and anything you sell — products, courses, licences, commissions — need only a verified Channel. Payouts run weekly or monthly, your choice, above $50; below that the balance rolls over and is never lost.
By application, read by a person
The ad share, fan subscriptions and remix royalties open when you are accepted into the Monetization Program. There is no subscriber count anywhere in it:
- Channel 60 days old
- 10,000 valid views
- 500 valid watch hours
- Slop Score 60+
- No active strikes
- Verified
- Two-factor on
- Payout method on file
Before you ask.
Is NeverLensed live?
Not yet. There is a complete working prototype and a public set of rules, and the platform is being built now. The waitlist holds your Channel name and puts you in the first group in.
When does it open?
There is no date yet, and we will not announce one we might have to move. You will hear from us when there is something to open — not before.
What does holding a name mean?
Your Channel name is kept for you until launch. Names go first come, first served: if two people ask for the same one, the earlier sign-up keeps it, and we write to the other before launch so they can choose again.
Who can join?
Creators 18 and over. NeverLensed has supervised teen and kids profiles, run by the adult who holds the account — they are not part of this waitlist.
Can I bring work I have made somewhere else?
Yes, as long as it shows it was generated: a C2PA manifest, an IPTC “made by a trained model” tag, or the generation log from the tool that made it. Anything a camera recorded is refused — that is Rule 1.
What happens to my email?
It is stored with Formspree, the form service this page uses, and used for one thing: telling you when your Channel is ready. No newsletter, no countdown emails, never sold. To be removed, write to hello@neverlensed.com.
